GaN Charger Manufacturer with Plants in Shenzhen and Huizhou

VINA International Holdings Ltd. is a GaN charger manufacturer based in Longgang, Shenzhen, with production in Shenzhen and Huizhou. We build USB-C PD chargers from 20W to 380W across wall, desktop and car formats, hold UL, CE, CB, FCC, KC, CCC and BSMI reports by model, and supply OEM and ODM orders to buyers in 65 countries.

Two lines running in Shenzhen. The line display shows order quantity, output and defect count for the shift.

What does VINA manufacture?

One factory group, four charger formats, 20W to 380W. Buyers who need a single supply source for a whole shelf usually start here, because mixing wall, desktop and car chargers across three suppliers means three sets of tooling, three certification files and three shipping schedules.

Format Power range Port configurations Typical use
Wall charger 20W – 165W 1C / 2C1A / 3C1A / 3C1A+screen Phone and laptop travel charging, retail blister packs

What does VINA manufacture?

A trading company can quote you a charger. It cannot change a transformer, re-run an EMC test or hold a production line for your rework. VINA runs production in two plants, Shenzhen and Huizhou, which is why we can move from a 65W sample to a 380W 8-port desktop unit on the same engineering team. When a buyer asks for a 100-240V input change, a different plug mould or a PFC front end, the answer comes from the people who build the board, not from a sales office relaying messages.

SMT line: printing, placement, AOI. This is the equipment a trading company does not have.

On engineering record, we were among the first to bring 200W and 240W PD chargers to market. The badge matters less than what it proves: the team can push a platform to the top of the PD power range and keep it certified at the same time.

This is also the practical difference between an OEM quote and an ODM one. OEM means our existing platform, your logo and packaging. ODM means we modify the platform: port count, per-port power allocation, housing, firmware behaviour. Both are engineering work, and engineering work needs a factory behind it.

How is quality controlled before shipment?

Quality control runs on a fixed staffing model, not a slogan. Three inspection stations sit on every production run, and they are staffed, not borrowed.

● IQC — 6 inspectors. Every incoming material batch is checked before it reaches the line.
● PQC — 6 inspectors. Semi-finished units are tested one by one during production, using calibrated test equipment and software rather than visual checks alone.
● FQC — 5 inspectors. Every finished unit is inspected before it is packed and shipped.

That is 17 full-time inspection staff out of roughly 200 employees — about one in twelve people on the payroll works in quality, not in shipping volume. Repeat purchase behaviour is the closest thing a factory has to an audit trail, and it is the number buyers should actually ask for: 90% of our clients placed repeat orders in the last two years. A buyer who reorders has already checked the failure rate, the packing and the paperwork.

Which certifications cover which models?

Certification is a per-model fact, not a company-wide badge. VINA holds UL, CE, CB, FCC, KC, CCC and BSMI reports across the charger range, and reports are also held for PSE (Japan) and BIS (India). Coverage differs by model and by destination market. Ask for the report number of the exact model you are buying, not a company certificate wall. On request we send the report set for your target market before you place a sample order, so your compliance team can check it against local requirements first.

Factory-level audits are separate from product certificates and buyers usually check both. VINA operates under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and has been audited to BSCI and SEDEX social compliance standards. Those cover the plant, the working conditions and the quality system. UL and CB cover the product. A supplier that can only show one of the two is worth a second look.

How does an OEM or ODM project run, from inquiry to shipment?

The sequence is fixed, and the time depends on how far you move from an existing platform.

assembly-line-cleanroom

The assembly floor in Shenzhen, where OEM orders run once the specification is locked.

1.Specification lock — power, port count, per-port allocation, plug type, protocol set (PD 3.0 / PD 3.1 EPR / PPS / QC), target market. We confirm what is achievable on the chosen platform.

2.Quotation — EXW price at 1K / 3K / 5K tiers, tooling cost if new, packaging cost, certification cost if the market is new.

3.Sampling — functional samples for your test, 7 days from specification lock on an existing platform.

4.Certification — if the model or market is new, the timeline depends on the destination market and the test scope. We state the specific period in the quotation rather than quote a blanket number.

5.Pilot run — small batch for packaging and assembly validation before mass production.

6.Mass production — 30 to 45 days after PO and deposit, depending on model and order volume, with outgoing inspection before packing.

7.Shipment — EXW, FOB or SKD/CKD depending on your assembly plan and duty position.

Branding sits inside that sequence, not outside it. Logo options are silk-screen, laser and pad printing on the housing. Packaging options are colour box, blister, hang card and FBA-ready carton with your barcodes and labels, so the unit arrives at your warehouse ready to list.

What are the MOQ and lead times?

MOQ is 1,000 pcs per model. That covers rebranding an existing platform with your logo and retail packaging, which is how most first orders start. Where a new housing mould or a new port configuration is involved, tooling is quoted separately and the minimum is confirmed together with that tooling quotation — we do not put a number on it before the mould is specified. Mixed-model containers are possible once an account is established.

Lead time is three numbers, not one, and buyers often conflate them. Sampling: 7 days. Mass production: 30 to 45 days after PO and deposit, depending on model and volume. Certification: market-dependent, and quoted per market and per model. We put all three on the quotation sheet, because quoting one without the others is how delivery disputes start.

Warranty is 24 months from shipment date on manufacturing defects, with replacement or credit at our option, and each order ships with 1% spare parts so you can handle field returns locally instead of shipping single units back. The terms are written into the PI rather than agreed verbally.

Who does VINA supply?

Four buyer types, each with a different bottleneck.

Buyer type Their main concern What we usually handle
Brand owners Tooling, logo, exclusivity ODM platform modification, custom housing, private label packaging
Distributors Price tiers, stock availability, full certification Tiered EXW pricing, mixed-model orders, complete report sets per market
Amazon and e-commerce sellers FBA packaging, compliance, listing claims FBA-ready cartons and labels, report copies for listing defence
Retail chains and projects Shelf-ready packaging, barcodes, regional plugs Blister and colour box tooling, barcode and hang-tag compliance, EU/US/UK plug variants
Engineering service providers Spec flexibility, small-batch variants, documentation ODM modification, mixed configurations, per-project certification support

We have supplied more than 3,000 buyers across 65 countries since 2005. For wholesale and distribution accounts we quote tiered EXW pricing at 1,000 / 3,000 / 5,000 pcs per model and allow mixed-model containers, so a distributor can test several SKUs without committing a full container to one model. Customer names are covered by confidentiality agreements, so we share reference contacts only with serious inquiries and only with the reference customer's permission.

How can a buyer verify the factory before placing an order?

Three ways, in increasing order of effort. First, ask for a live video walkthrough of the SMT line, the assembly line and the aging rack — we schedule these during working hours in Shenzhen time. Second, request the business licence, the ISO certificates and the product reports for the exact model you are considering. Third, visit in person; we are in Longgang, Shenzhen, about 50 minutes from Shenzhen Bao'an Airport and 30 minutes from Shenzhen North railway station.

Any supplier that resists all three is telling you something. Verification is not an insult to a real factory — it is the normal first step of a B2B order.
